Bahrain travel restrictions from Andorra

International travel to Bahrain is permitted and visas will be issued on arrival. Citizens of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council will not require visas.
It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is permitted.

Open with conditions

Travelers are not permitted to enter Bahrain if they traveled via transit through another country that is on the 'red list'. Exceptions are in place for citizens or residents who travel through one of the affected countries.

Other restrictions

Travelers are required to download 'BeAware Bahrain' mobile app and sign a self-isolation agreement.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who can present a valid certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, are exempt from pre-departure testing and quarantine requirements. Vaccinated travelers must still comply with testing requirements after arrival but quarantine will not be required.
Proof vaccination must be uploaded on the 'BeAware Bahrain' mobile app and travelers will be provided with a 'vaccination certification card' proving the acceptance of the vaccination status. All vaccines approved by the World Health Organization are accepted, the final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to quarantine for 10 days at a private residence or at a government facility.
Proof of a pre-paid booking under the traveler's name is required before departure. Alternatively, travelers who can present proof of ownership or lease either in their name or that of an immediate family member may quarantine at their private residence.
Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine requirements and may provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test, issued at least 14 days before departure and not more than 8 months, on departure.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on departure. The test result must have a QR code.
Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from testing requirements and may provide proof of a positive COVID-19 test, issued at least 14 days before departure and not more than 8 months, on departure.

Additional test requirements

PCR tests will be administered on arrival, on day 5, and on day 10. The tests should be paid via the 'BeAware Bahrain' mobile application for a total of approximately $96 USD.

Government measures
