Benin travel restrictions from USA

International travel to Benin is permitted, however, flights are limited and the issuance of entry visas is restricted. This does not apply to nationals and residents.

Testing on arrival

Travelers will undergo both TDR rapid test and PCR testing on arrival and self-quarantine is required until the test results are received. Passengers will be required to leave their passports with the Immigration Police for up to 72 hours until the test results are received.
Those staying in Benin for longer than 15 days must undergo a third test, quarantine is not required unless a positive result is confirmed.

Additional test requirements

Departing travelers who have stayed in Benin for more than 3 days must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test result, taken within 72 hours, to be permitted re-entry into the Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport.
