Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, will have a shortened quarantine period of 7 days at an approved government facility. This will be followed by a shortened self-isolation period of 7 days.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival at an approved government facility. During this period, all arrivals will be subject to multiple COVID tests and will require 2 consecutive negative results to be released from state quarantine. Following this quarantine period, travelers are required to self-isolate for up to 14 days, further testing may take place.
Once both of these periods of quarantine and isolation are completed, a document should be issued to the traveler declaring that quarantine and isolation are no longer required. This should be kept safe as it may need to be presented on departure from Vietnam.
All quarantine and testing costs are at the expense of the traveler.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours before departure, must be provided on arrival.
