Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided upon boarding. Alternatively, a negative antigen test, taken within the previous 24 hours, may also be presented. All documents must be in Portuguese, Spanish, or English.

Quarantine required

A COVID-19 test will be administered on arrival and managed isolation is required for 7 days at a government facility, followed by a period of self-isolation at a private residence or accommodation. A second test will be administered on day 9 after arrival and travelers must self-isolate until a negative result is confirmed.
Travelers must register on the 'Managed Isolation Allocation System' as the first step to securing their place in managed isolation. Travel is not permitted without this reservation confirmed.
