Import Regulations
Free to import items into Ukraine
Tobacco
- 200 cigarettes;
- 50 cigars; or
- 250 grams tobacco.
Alcohol
- Funds of less than €10,000 must be declared to the customs authorities.
- Funds exceeding €10,000 are subject to a written declaration, and must be accompanied by documents showing that the money was withdrawn from an accredited bank or similar financial institution.
Currency
- Funds of less than €10,000 must be declared to the customs authorities.

Other items
- Personal belongings, such as jewellery, clothes, toiletries, laptops, cameras, sports equipment, etc.
- Food may be brought in if the value does not exceed €50 the weight does not exceed 2kg, and there is only one package of each product.
- Goods with a value of less than €200 may be brought in without declaration.
- Medication for personal use. Evidence of a prescription may be requested.
Prohibited items into Ukraine
- Illegal drugs.
- Pornographic media.
- Leaded gasoline.
- Certain fishing nets and hunting traps.
Restricted items into Ukraine
- Goods with a value of more than €200 but less than €10,000 must be declared on a customs form.
- Goods with a value exceeding €10,000 are subject to the same declaration requirements as imported cargo.
- Firearms may only be imported with permission from theMinistry of Interior of Ukraine.
- Cultural goods must be accompanied by documents showing the traveller's legal ownership.

- Cultural items that are listen in the State Register of Cultural Heritage, the National Archive Fund, and the Museum Fund of Ukraine.
- Any scrap formed from military units and institutions.
- Illegal drugs.
