Exercise a high degree of caution

Cameroon recently launched an E-visa system, requiring visa applicants to sign up, provide the relevant documentation and pay for their visa online before travel. (see 'Travel'). We advise: Exercise a high degree of caution in Cameroon overall due to civil unrest and high levels of violent crime. Higher levels apply in some areas.
