International travel to the Republic of Congo is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

On departure from the Congo, travelers are required to present proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours. Temperature checks will also be conducted on departure.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, should be presented on arrival.
Travelers who do not have a pre-departure test will be tested upon arrival and must self-isolate for 14 days.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health screening on arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment. Further health testing may be required for those displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

Government measures

Across the country, social gatherings are limited to a maximum of 50 people and a curfew is in place in Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am. Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Foreign non-resident travelers who present a valid certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from quarantine requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.

Quarantine required

Foreign travelers are required to quarantine for 14 days after arrival. A test can be taken on the fifth day and those testing negative will be relieved from isolation.
Travelers who can provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 with proof of a positive test result, taken at least 14 days before departure but not more than 12 weeks old before departure, are exempt from the quarantine requirements.
Residents with valid proof of a negative test result accompanied with proof of residency are also exempt from the quarantine requirements.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 48 hours, must be provided on departure. Only tests taken in Nordic countries, the European Union, European Free Trade Association, or the United Kingdom are accepted.
