International travel to the Republic of Congo is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

On departure from the Congo, travelers are required to present proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours. Temperature checks will also be conducted on departure.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, should be presented on arrival.
Travelers who do not have a pre-departure test will be tested upon arrival and must self-isolate for 14 days.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health screening on arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment. Further health testing may be required for those displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

The certificate must include a QR code and the final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to self-quarantine for 10 days on arrival. This period can be shortened if a PCR test is taken on day 3 or after, and a negative result is confirmed. Suitable places to quarantine in different municipalities can be found at https://www.dsb.no/quarantine-hotel
