International travel to the Gambia is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from the pre-departure testing requirement.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on arrival.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health screening on arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment. Further health testing may be required for those displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Those testing positive will be required to undergo quarantine at a government facility until a negative test result is confirmed.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from quarantine requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to self-quarantine for 10 days. This period may be shortened if a PCR or antigen test is taken after day 8 and a negative test result is confirmed.
Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine requirements and may provide proof of a positive test, taken at least 14 days before departure and not more than 180 days, on departure.
Those who can provide an EU Digital Certificate as proof of a negative RT-PCR or antigen test taken within 48 hours before arrival, are exempt from quarantine requirements. Quarantine requirements do not apply to those staying in Poland for less than 24 hours, proof of a departure ticket must be presented.
