## Iceland transit visa conditions

- An Airport Transit Schengen Visa is a permit designated for travellers that have to change flights at a Schengen airport. It enables them to stop and wait in the international transit area of a Schengen airport for their flight to their destination country.
- A Transit Schengen Visa is for individuals who need to enter the Schengen territory only to change their means of transport.
- If you need to transit through more than one airport within the Schengen Area, then you are no longer eligible for an Airport Transit Visa. You should instead apply for a regular Schengen Visa (C Type).
- The nationals of certain countries need an airport transit visa when passing through the international transit area of any Schengen country airport. The list of these countries can be found on the source page.

Documents required for Iceland include passport and other supporting documents. A total of 5 documents are required.

- **Visa Application Form** Completed application form for Iceland, ensure all sections are filled out accurately and legibly, incomplete or incorrect forms may result in delays or denial of your visa application, double-check for any errors before submission.

- **Proof of Funds** Proof of enough money for your stay and to leave Iceland, such as personal bank statements, pay slips from your employer, or tax records, these documents help verify that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay and for your return journey.
