- Wines.
- Forged currencies and paper used for forging.
- Unregistered creams in the Ministry of Health.
- Tapes containing shameful pictures or immoral printed matters.
- Goods imported from Israel.
Restricted items into Sudan
- Drugs and medical apparatus and equipments, cosmetics, veterinary medicines and vaccines require a certificate from the National Council for Pharmaceutics and Poisons.
- Books, printed matters, and newspapers require a licence from the National Council for Newspapers and Printed Matters.
- Recorded tapes require a licence from the National Council for Literary and Artistic Works.
- Insecticides require a licence from the National Council for Insecticides.
- Seeds require the following: Certificate of Planting from the Ministry of Agriculture, Agricultural Quarantine Form (10), Plants Protection Form, International and local examination certificate, and an additional licence from the National Council for Potatoes for the importation of potato seeds.
- Transplants require a licence from the Ministry of Agriculture.
- Space receivers equipment requires a licence from the National Committee for Communication.
- Fishing nets require a certificate from the Ministry of Animal Wealth (fishing grounds).
- Coloured document copiers, coloured faxes and scanners require a licence from the public security administration.
- Spices and peppers require a Plants Protection Form (3) and an Agricultural Quarantine Form (10).
- Measurements and weights require permission from the Metrology and Standards Authority.
- Weapons, ammunitions, explosives, and fireworks require a License of Weapons from the Ministry of Interior.
- Radiant materials require a Licence to Enter from the Nuclear Power Corporation.
- Antique pieces require a Licence from the National Corporation for Antiquities.
- Large electric generators require a licence from the Ministry of Energy and Electricity.
- Used spare parts, instruments, tools, and machines require a stamp of final invoices in the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
- Food stuffs require a Health Certificate from the Ministry of Health - Administration of Environment and Food Protection, and a Certificate of Standardization Corporation.
- The Holy Quran requires permission from the High Council for the Holy Quran - Ministry of Endowments and Religion Affairs.
- Engine oils and gas cylinders require the agreement of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum General Corporation).
- Live animals require a Health Certificate from the Ministry of Animal Wealth.
- Narcotics are prohibited except those licensed for medical research.
