For entry into Indonesia

International travel to Indonesia is permitted for vaccinated travelers. There are exceptions for non-vaccinated citizens and residents.
It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Travelers must install and register to the 'PeduliLindungi' mobile app before departure.

Vaccination required

Travelers are required to present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19 with the use of an approved vaccine.
The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.
Alternatively, those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may instead provide a COVID-19 recovery certificate or a doctor's certificate declaring the traveler as inactive in transmitting COVID-19.
Indonesian citizens and residents are exempt from the vaccination requirement but will be required to get vaccinated while observing quarantine.

Quarantine required

Non-vaccinated travelers are required to self-quarantine for 5 days upon arrival. An RT-PCR test must be administered to be released from quarantine.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health screening on arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment. Further health testing, such as an RT-PCR test, may be required for those displaying symptoms of COVID-19.
Additionally, it is recommended to self-monitor for 14 days after arrival.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative rapid antigen test, taken within the previous 24 hours, must be provided on departure.
Test certificates must be in English or Chinese.

Testing on arrival

A nucleic acid test will be administered upon arrival and apart from the transfer from the airport, proof of a negative test result is required to leave the place of residence.

Additional test requirements

Daily rapid antigen testing is required for the first 5 days after arrival. Additionally, travelers must undergo a PCR test on day 2.
