Kazakhstan travel restrictions from Uzbekistan

Travel to Kazakhstan is partially allowed from Uzbekistan. Measures in place: test/medical certificate required, other medical measures and additional documents required

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the 5 days before departure, is required on arrival.
Passengers who are unable to present evidence of a negative PCR test will be required to undergo testing at their accommodation within 48 hours of their arrival in Kazakhstan. Self-isolation is required until the test results are processed. If the traveler's PCR test results are positive, they will be transferred to an infectious disease hospital.

Other medical measures

Travelers may be subject to health screening and temperature checks at the airport. Those with a high temperature will be quarantined until a PCR test is conducted, regardless of a test certificate. If the result is negative, quarantine is no longer required. If the result is positive, they will be transferred to an infectious disease hospital.

Additional documents required

A health questionnaire must be completed on arrival.
