A country with a notification rate of 120 or above is considered high-risk by the government of Kosovo. Global incidence rates per country can be found at https://qap.ecdc.europa.eu/public/extensions/COVID-19/COVID-19.html#global-overview-tab

Open with conditions

Travelers arriving from a country with a notification rate of 120 or above, based on EDCD data, will be required to provide proof of a negative PCR test on arrival, taken within the previous 72 hours. Those who fail to provide this will evidence will be required to self-isolate for 7 days. All arrivals may also be subject to health screening, such as temperature checks and monitoring for symptoms.

On return

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on departure.

Testing on arrival

Travelers must also undergo PCR testing on arrival, followed by a second test taken 5 days later, and self-quarantine is required until it is confirmed that both test results are negative. Those unable to present an appropriate quarantine arrangement and those testing positive with new virus strains will be transferred to a managed isolated facility.
Those with proof of a positive PCR or antibody test for previous COVID-19 infection, and proof of recovery, are exempt from testing and quarantine requirements. The documents must have been issued in an EU or EFTA country.
