Myanmar travel restrictions from Italy

International travel to Myanmar is permitted for nationals, residents, and valid visa holders. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Foreign non-resident travelers are required to have a valid visa for travel to Myanmar. The government of Myanmar can issue business visas for compelling cases but tourist visa applications are currently suspended.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to quarantine for 10 days on arrival at an approved government facility. RT-PCR tests will be conducted on day 3 and day 7. Travelers testing positive will be transferred to a designated hospital.
Further tests may be administered during this period. All costs incurred will be at the traveler's expense.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided before boarding.
