Nepal travel restrictions from Turkmenistan

International travel to Nepal is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

Residents departing Nepal are required to present proof of a negative RT-PCR, Gene Xpert, True NAAT, or WHO accredited tests taken within 48 hours before departure. Alternatively, travelers may also present COVID-19 test requirements specified by the destination country.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from pre-departure testing and quarantine requirements.

Quarantine required

Travelers are subject to quarantine for 10 days at a government-approved hotel at the traveler's expense. A COVID-19 test will be administered on day 11 and those testing negative will be released from quarantine.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative RT-PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on departure. Gene Xpert, True NAAT, and WHO accredited tests are also accepted.

Testing on arrival

Travelers are subject to antigen testing on arrival.
