International travel to Nicaragua is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative molecular COVID-19 test, taken within the previous 72 hours to 4 hours before departure and the result must be uploaded onto the 'ED card' before departure.
The accepted molecular tests are PCR, RT-PCR, ddPCR, Rapid PCR, NAA, NAAT, AMP PRB, LAMP, and TMA tests.
Arrivals without a valid test result will be required to take a test on arrival and must quarantine until a negative result is confirmed. The test costs $75 USD and must be paid online as part of the 'ED card' submission.
