Conditional quarantine

Travelers who have visited other countries in South America, within 14 days prior to travel, are required to undergo testing on arrival and a mandatory 5-day quarantine. A second test will be administered 5 days after arrival and those testing negative may exit quarantine. Those testing positive will undergo a 14-day quarantine.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR, RT-PCR, or antigen test, in Spanish or English and taken within 48 hours prior, must be provided on departure.
Alternatively, travelers who have not been in any other country in South America within 14 days before travel, can be tested on arrival for a fee of $50 USD, and self-isolation is required until a negative test result is confirmed.
