Conditional quarantine

All travelers staying in Rwanda for more than 7 days will be required to self-isolate for 7 days. A free test will be performed at the end of this period to relieve travelers from quarantine. This does not apply to business travelers who plan to stay less than 7 days in Rwanda.

The testing procedure costs $60 USD and confirmation of results can take up to 24 hours. If a positive result is received, travelers will be transferred to a government treatment facility.

Additional documents required

A completed 'passenger locator form' must be completed before departure. A negative PCR test result is required to complete the process. - Passenger locator form
