Turkey travel restrictions from Finland

International travel to Turkey is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Open with conditions

If another country has been visited in the previous 14 days that is on the suspended list, travelers are subject to further testing and quarantine requirements, regardless of vaccination status. The list of high-risk countries, quarantine duration, and test dates can be found at https://www.turkishairlines.com/en-us/announcements/coronavirus-outbreak/turkey-travel-rules/

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from pre-departure testing requirements.
The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure. All vaccines approved by the World Health Organization are accepted. Further information on vaccinations can be found at https://www.visasturkey.com/vaccinations-for-turkey/

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on departure. Alternatively, a negative rapid antigen test can be provided, taken within 48 hours of departure.
Those who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from testing requirements and may provide proof of a positive antigen or PCR test, taken at least 14 days and not more than 180 days of departure.

Other medical measures

All travelers are subject to medical evaluation on arrival. Passengers showing symptoms of being unwell will undergo a PCR test at the airport. If a positive result is returned, self-quarantine at a government facility will be required at the traveler's expense.

The HES code may also be requested when checking in to accommodation or when entering public places. This does not apply to foreign travelers.

Restaurants are open as usual.

Bars

Bars are open as usual.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine do not require an essential reason to enter and are exempt from all testing requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.
Those who have recovered from COVID-19 and received one dose of a vaccine will also be considered fully vaccinated.
If only one dose of a two-dose vaccine has been administered without proof of the previous infection, travelers will not be considered fully vaccinated but are exempt from pre-departure testing requirements. These travelers must still undergo testing 3-5 days after arrival. Foreign travelers with only one dose will require an essential reason to enter.

Test/medical certificate required

Travelers are recommended to provide proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on arrival. Certificates must be in Finnish, Swedish, or English.
Arrivals without a valid negative test will be tested immediately upon arrival at the airport. Those who plan to travel without a valid negative test are advised to check if their airline requires pre-departure testing.
EU residents who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from testing requirements and if proof of a positive antigen or PCR test, taken at least 14 days before departure and not more than 180 days, is provided on arrival.

Testing on arrival

A second COVID-19 test will be administered 3-5 days after arrival.
EU residents who have recently recovered from COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine and testing requirements if proof of a positive antigen or PCR test, taken at least 14 days before departure and not more than 180 days, is provided on arrival.
