A prefectural decree determines general prohibitions and their strictly limited exceptions: to professional or health requirements. In this context, trips are possible on the whole of the island of Wallis and that of Futuna: For compelling family reasons in the direction of elderly or disabled family members, travel is possible within the only district of residence for Wallis; To stock up on food, travel is possible within the only district of residence for Wallis. The following measures are in effect within the framework of strict containment: wearing a mask compulsory in public spaces (public roads, public establishments, establishments open to the public, etc.); compliance with barrier and distance measures (do not kiss each other, do not shake hands, keep a distance of 2 meters, wash your hands regularly with soap or hydroalcoholic gel, etc.); ban on all individual and collective sporting activities; closure of bars and restaurants; closure of schools; suspension of religious ceremonies except for burials; suspension of flights between Wallis and Futuna except for emergency supplies and medical evacuations. A business continuity plan must be implemented in the administrations and companies in order to limit the presence of staff to what is strictly necessary. Finally, family and friendly gatherings and any collective travel on the islets are strongly discouraged.
