  • Protected species and products protected under CITES. A permit is required for import.
  • Plants and their derivative products, such as fruit, vegetables, and seeds, require clearance from theMinistry of Agro-Industry & Food Security.
  • Pets require an Import Permit from theVeterinary Service of the Ministry of Agro-Industry and Food Security prior to importation.
  • Firearms and weapon require an import permit fromThe Mauritius Police Force.
