- 200 cigarettes;
- 100 cigars; and
- 500 grams of tobacco.
Alcohol
- Travellers must declare any amount exceeding VND15,000,000.
- Travellers must declare any foreign currency exceeding an amount equivalent to US$5000.
Currency
- Travellers must declare any amount exceeding VND15,000,000.
- Travellers must declare any foreign currency exceeding an amount equivalent to US$5000.
Other items
- Clothing and personal belongings.
- Other items which do not exceed a total value of VND5,000,000.

- Addictive medication.
- Jewellery and gold exceeding 300g must be declared.
- Precious metals and stones exceeding a value of VND300 million must be declared.
