Armenia travel restrictions from Benin

International travel to Armenia is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Vaccinated traveller exceptions

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from the testing requirement. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before arrival. This document must be in Armenian, Russian, or English.
Travelers registered through the ARMED system may provide a digital or printed copy of the vaccination certificate containing a QR code from the ArmedeHealth mobile application.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on arrival. This document must be in Armenian, Russian, or English.
Those arriving without a valid PCR test result will be required to undergo PCR testing on arrival and must self-isolate until a negative result is confirmed.

Testing on arrival

Travelers will undergo both TDR rapid test and PCR testing on arrival and self-quarantine is required until the test results are received. Passengers will be required to leave their passports with the Immigration Police for up to 72 hours until the test results are received.
Those staying in Benin for longer than 15 days must undergo a third test, quarantine is not required unless a positive result is confirmed.
The tests must be booked and paid for before departure and airlines may require proof tests booked for boarding. The test costs 25,000 CFA ($45 USD) to 50,000 CFA ($90 USD) and can be booked at https://centresurveillancesanitaire.bj/

Additional test requirements

Departing travelers who have stayed in Benin for more than 3 days must present proof of a negative COVID-19 test result, taken within 72 hours, to be permitted re-entry into the Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport.
