Bahamas travel restrictions from Serbia

International travel to the Bahamas is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Vaccinated traveller exceptions

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from testing on arrival and daily health survey requirements.
Vaccinated travelers must still provide a pre-departure negative test but this can be a rapid antigen test taken within 5 days of arrival, instead of a PCR test.
The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure. The vaccination certificate must be uploaded during the travel health visa application. The list of approved vaccines can be found at https://www.bahamas.com/travelupdates

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative RT-PCR test, taken no more than 5 days prior, must be provided on arrival.
Bahamas citizens and residents traveling back to the Bahamas are required to provide proof of an RT-PCR test taken from the country they have visited.

Testing on arrival

Travelers visiting for more than 4 nights or 5 days are required to undergo rapid COVID-19 antigen testing.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health screening on arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment.

Additional documents required

Travelers must apply for a 'Travel health visa' prior to departure and the resulting confirmation must be presented upon arrival. As part of the application, proof of the negative PCR test must be uploaded. The processing of this application may take up to 48 hours.
During the application process, travelers must also choose a health insurance policy that will cover them for the duration of their stay. The cost of this will be included in the application fee, which will vary depending on the length of stay.
After arrival, a health survey must be completed each day for a period of up to 14 days or for the duration of the trip if less than 14 days. - Travel health visa

Use of masks

Face masks are required in public spaces, enclosed environments, and while on public transport.

Restaurants are open with reduced capacity to allow for social distancing but more restrictive measures may be in place in high-risk areas.
