International travel to the Republic of Congo is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

On departure from the Congo, travelers are required to present proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours. Temperature checks will also be conducted on departure.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, should be presented on arrival.
Travelers who do not have a pre-departure test will be tested upon arrival and must self-isolate for 14 days.

Other medical measures

All passengers are subject to health screening on arrival, such as temperature checks and visual assessment. Further health testing may be required for those displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

Government measures

Across the country, social gatherings are limited to a maximum of 50 people and a curfew is in place in Pointe-Noire and Brazzaville between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am. Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, can enter without an essential reason and are exempt from quarantine requirements.
The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before and not more than 6 months before departure. Those who have been administered a vaccine with a single-dose schedule will be considered fully vaccinated after 21 days.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to self-quarantine for 10 days on arrival. This period can be shortened if an RT-PCR test is taken on day 5 and a negative result is confirmed. All members of the household must remain in quarantine until the traveler's quarantine ends.
