Cuba travel restrictions from Chile

International travel to Cuba is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is permitted.

Other restrictions

All travelers are required to have medical insurance which includes full coverage for COVID-19 treatment costs.

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to undergo isolation at a designated isolation center for at least 5 days. A PCR test will be taken on day 5 and those testing negative will be released from isolation. If a positive result is received, travelers must follow the instructions of health officials. All testing and isolation costs will be at the traveler's expense.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours prior to departure, must be provided on arrival.

Testing on arrival

A PCR test will be administered on arrival. If a positive result is received, travelers will be transferred to a government-run hospital. All costs incurred will be at the traveler's expense.

Quarantine required

Travelers with a 'mobility pass' may undergo quarantine at home or at their own residence.
Travelers are subject to testing on arrival and are required to undergo testing during the quarantine period. Those with a negative result can complete the quarantine period at their own accommodation or residence. Those with a positive result will be required to remain in quarantine at the approved hotel until a negative result is confirmed. A daily follow-up form must be completed for 14 days after arrival.
