International travel to Mali is permitted. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

On departure from Mali, travelers may be required to present proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours. Health screenings and temperature checks may also be conducted on departure.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on arrival.
Travelers without a pre-departure test will be tested on arrival and must self-isolate until a negative result is confirmed.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19 issued within Europe, or other selected countries, are exempt from the entry ban. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.
Vaccinated travelers are still required to present a valid negative pre-departure test and are recommended to self-isolate for 7 days after arrival.

Quarantine recommended

The government recommends that all travelers self-isolate for 7 days after arrival. During this time, travelers are recommended to take a COVID-19 test immediately upon arrival and another test taken 5 days after.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 48 hours, must be provided on departure. The document must be in Swedish, English, Norwegian, Danish, or French.
This does not apply to Swedish nationals and residents.
