International travel to Venezuela is permitted but direct flights suspended. It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Test/medical certificate required

Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 48 hours, must be provided on departure.

Testing on arrival

A second test will be administered on arrival, at the traveler's expense of USD $60 which is payable in cash only. Those with a positive result must follow instructions from local health authorities in respect to quarantine.

Other medical measures

Travelers may be subject to a health assessment on departure. This could include temperature screenings and answering questions relating to COVID symptoms. Those who display symptoms will not be permitted to leave the country.
