Fiji travel restrictions from Egypt

International travel to Fiji is permitted for vaccinated permit holders, citizens, and residents.
It is necessary to comply with requirements to ensure entry is allowed.

Other restrictions

Proof of travel insurance with international COVID-19 coverage is required. Travelers are also required to download the careFIJI app and keep Bluetooth turned on for the duration of the stay.

Vaccination required

Travelers are required to present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine.
The approved vaccines include AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure

Quarantine required

Travelers are required to quarantine for 3 nights on arrival at an approved government facility. An approved hotel must be booked before travel and proof of pre-paid accommodation must be presented on departure.

Test/medical certificate required

Travelers are required to provide proof of a negative RT-PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours.
Travelers may instead provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days of departure. This will require proof of the isolation period served from a credible institution or a fit-to-fly certificate from a healthcare provider.

Additional test requirements

Travelers are subject to additional tests on or after arrival.

Government measures

Face masks are required on public transportation. You should carry a face mask with you at all times and be prepared to wear it during your stay.

Public transportation is operating as usual. Public transportation is reduced in high-risk areas.

Restaurants

Restaurants are open with reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. Restaurants may be closed in high-risk areas.

Bars

Bars are open with reduced capacity to allow for social distancing. Seating is limited to a maximum of 10 people per table.

Nightclubs

Nightclubs remain closed to limit the rate of transmission.

Shops

Shops and services are open with adapted safety measures in place, such as the use of hand sanitizer and social distancing.

Vaccinations and vaccinated travel

Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from pre-departure testing requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.
The vaccine certificate must have been issued by an accredited laboratory in the country of issue and linked with a QR code.

Test/medical certificate required

A printed proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on departure.
Foreign travelers arriving in Hurghada (HRG), Marsa Alam (SSH), or Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) without valid proof of a negative PCR test are required to take a PCR test on arrival. The test will cost $30 USD and travelers will be required to self-isolate at a hotel until a negative result is confirmed. Test results are usually available within 12 to 24 hours. If a positive result is received, travelers may be required to undergo 14-day isolation at the hotel.

Testing on arrival

Travelers arriving from countries where COVID-19 variants of concern have been identified are subject to a rapid COVID-19 test on arrival. A list of identified countries has not been confirmed.
