Quarantine required

Self-quarantine is required until 2 consecutive negative PCR test results are confirmed. The first test will be taken on arrival and the second test will be taken 5 days later. Those unable to present an appropriate quarantine arrangement and those testing positive with new virus strains will be transferred to a managed isolated facility.

Travelers are required to present proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, on departure.
Those with proof of a positive PCR or antibody test for previous COVID-19 infection, and proof of recovery, are exempt from testing and quarantine requirements. The documents must have been issued in an EU or EFTA country.

In Monaco there is a nightly curfew between 10pm and 6am.
There are certain exemptions to the curfew, including for work, health, and family reasons, or to take pets outside.
Gatherings of up to 10 people are allowed in public spaces.
Many businesses, public places, and shops are now allowed to open. They must abide by social distancing restrictions.
Restaurants are allowed to open for lunch and dinner and access to restaurants will be limited solely to residents of Monaco, hotel guests, and those who work in the country.
They must close at 11pm.
There is an exemption to the curfew for customers until 11:15pm only. They must bring a certificate which will be given to them by the restaurateur proving that they have been eating at the restaurant.
Take-out is allowed until 10pm.
There must be no music played in the public area.
Food delivery is allowed between 6am and 11pm.
Bars and cafes are permitted to open between 6am and 7pm provided guests are served at the table.

Masks must be worn in all public spaces and in all closed spaces open to the public and shared areas of private spaces.
Children aged under five years and people who are exercising outdoors do not need to wear masks.
The wearing of masks in private spaces is strongly recommended, particularly when someone from outside the household or a vulnerable person is present.
